Hawzah News Agency – The Friday prayer leader of Ahvaz says Iran's deterrent capabilities in missile and drone technology have forced the enemy to retreat from confrontation and pursue the path of negotiations.
Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad Nabi Mousavifard, representative of the Leader in Khuzestan Province, said during Friday prayers in Ahvaz that the Islamic Republic's defense capabilities have reshaped regional equations.
Speaking at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla, Mousavifard began his sermon by urging worshippers to observe divine piety, citing the Quranic verse: "O Prophet, fear God and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, God is All-Knowing, All-Wise."
He noted that Surah Al-Ahzab is an educational chapter of the Quran, adding that Imam Sadeq (AS) said whoever recites this chapter frequently will be under the protection of the Prophet (PBUH) on the Day of Resurrection, provided the recitation leads to reflection and action.
The Question of Why the Enemy Shifted Course
Addressing the rapid change in the enemy's approach to the issue of war, the cleric said: "The enemy constantly shows flexibility and retreat, raising the flag of negotiation as a white flag. The answer to this question unveils the mystery of those orchestrating such a battlefield."
He identified Iran's deterrent power as the primary reason, saying: "The deterrent capabilities of the Islamic Republic's armed forces in both offensive and defensive domains are precisely assessed by the enemy. They know that if an infrastructural war breaks out and talk of the Stone Age and camel riding emerges, they will reach scorched lands with destroyed infrastructure before powerful Islamic Iran does."
Missile and Drone Capabilities on Full Display
Mousavifard said the rate of missile and drone launches by the Islamic Republic has demonstrated that whenever the Commander-in-Chief wills, the enemy's territory will be reduced to ashes.
"America's investments in the region, especially in the occupied territories, are under the missile and drone hammer of our country," he said.
The Friday prayer leader also addressed Iran's nuclear capabilities, stating: "The enemy knows well that by God's power, the armed forces and the nuclear industry have reached nuclear deterrence, and there is no problem in this regard. Iran's will becomes activated after the evil of an infrastructure war."
Enemy's Backdown Explained
Mousavifard outlined several reasons for America's retreat toward negotiations:
"The preemptive strikes by Iran's armed forces against American deployments and investments in Jordan, the evacuation of all American bases in the region, increasing pressure on America's throat in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb, and the growing resilience of the Iranian people on the ground."
He noted that the enemy assassinated Iran's martyred commander, but Ayatollah Khamenei stepped forward stronger than before, adding: "The arrangement of military commanders demonstrates the offensive power of Islamic Iran."
Domestic Concerns
Turning to domestic issues, the cleric warned that the enemy has set its sights on hijab and Islamic dress code, cautioning against a creeping identity crisis.
He urged the provincial governor to establish a dedicated task force on the matter, stressing that both people and officials must work together to maintain the purity of the Islamic community.
Mousavifard also called on provincial authorities to serve the people with sincerity, saying the best way to appreciate the nation is through dedicated service to their concerns.
He concluded by announcing that the 40th-day commemoration of Iran's martyred commander will be held on Thursday, urging proper planning for the occasion.
